Description

A wild and seriously pissed off battlemaiden mother Cousland joins the fray!  Can you imagine anything more terrifying? I kept hearing Ripley from Aliens in my head when I was drawing her.  You know the scene I'm talking about.

We are slowly but surely making progress.  I have never enjoyed drawing armor and swords… I'll be honest, this series isn't helping. lol.  If the cousland insignia mysteriously disappears from Arlana's shield after a couple more pages, you'll know why.  That is a pain to draw.

In my mind, my Rhona Cousland has a moment of shock after she killed her first man. Once the adrenaline wore off and she had a moment to gather her thoughts after a chaotic awakening, she was pretty stunned at what she’d been able to do. Sure, she trained for this her entire life, but it’s much different than just swinging a sword at practice dummies.

Then in pop more soldiers, she barely has time to prepare, then BAM! Momma Bear Cousland saves her cub.

I just love your work, btw; you really nail the expressions and I feel everything that’s going on in each panel!
